Q. Can I add a little extra milk to Fitcafe? Y. Yes.
Q. Taking Fitcafe seems to bung me up. What is happening? A. Fibre without water will have a "slowing" effect on your system. However WITH adequate amounts of water, it will assist the transition through your system. Fitcafe contains 8g fibre per sachet. (FitCafe has 2.5 times more fibre content than Fybogel per serving). With any fibre supplements, you must consume adequate amounts of water every day; ie: 8 glasses min per day.
Q. Can I substitute "water" with Green Tea, Coffee, wine or Beer? (or any other forms of drinks that are diuretics?) A. No. For every cup of tea (or Diuretic drink), you are actually reducing the amount of water being transited through our GI Tract. The water will instead be passed out through our renal system. Thus less water is being transited through our bowels, less water is available for transition together with the fibre and waste materials.
Q. What is a Healing Crisis and will Fitcafe give me one? A. With any good form of supplements, there will always be an initial healing crisis as your systems get used to working more efficiently. Most of the time is not noticeable. You may feel worse and therefore conclude that the Fitcafe is not working. But these reactions are instead signs that the treatment is working and that your body is going through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalances.
If you are feeling fatigued, or sleepy, your body is talking to you, and telling you to rest. Be kind to yourself, and get the rest that you need. Such reactions are temporary and can occur immediately. Symptoms frequently disappear immediately after a good bowel movement.
Q. What is the Difference between Soluble and Insoluble Fibre? A. A single serving of Fitcafe contains 9 grams of fibre (total) of which 8 grams is soluble. Soluble means that it dissolves in water. Both types of Fibre add bulk to your diet, making you feel fuller to help weight control. Soluble Fibre attracts water and turns into a gel during digestion, this traps carbohydrates and helps slow the absorption of glucose and also helps to lower variance in your blood sugar levels and helps control metabolic issues.
